A few of Michael Pollan’s rules to eat by from his guide to good eating, Food Rules:
Don’t eat anything your great-grandmother wouldn’t recognize as food.
Avoid food products containing ingredients that a third-grader cannot pronounce.
Eat only foods that will eventually rot.
Eat all the junk food you want as long as you cook it yourself.
Summing it all up, Michael says, “It’s not that hard to eat well if you’re willing to put a little more time into it, a little more thoughtfulness into it and, yes, a little bit more money,”
